| So it has been kind of a crying day....last night while practicing I
did a back attitude and landed wrong and my foot kinda popped and I
fell to the ground. Went to the doctor and they said it wasn't broken
but that I should take it easy for the next couple weeks (easier said
than done). I tried to be optimistic for as long as possible,
thinking that I would still be able to perform today and all regardless
of the doctor said. We had to be in KC by 8 for practice. I
tried to make it through practice but there is just some stuff that I
cant right now. It was my decision not to perform and that was a
really hard one to actually verbalize. Deep down I think I knew I
wasn't going to be able to perform but I tried. I just realized
that this was a little show compared to the regional 2 weeks from now
and I need to be better before that one so I shouldn't strain myself and
make it worse. So I sat in the stands and watched everyone else
perform. Its a really good show. The only good thing was I
got to see it live which is usually something that doesn't happen.
Of course I cried b/c as much I loved watching it I would have much
rather been down there performing it. I was there in spirit though
and we got a 77 which is 5 points higher then 2 weeks ago!!!!
